BX 11 S

The entry-level model

The BX 11 S adaptive wheelchair offers maximum comfort and flexibility. It was specially designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities caused by neurological diseases, such as stroke, multiple sclerosis or cerebral palsy. Thus, the BX 11 S is used for initial care in rehab and is optimally suited for getting used to a wheelchair. Thanks to its reduced weight, this adaptive wheelchair is the perfect companion for users who are permanently dependent on a wheelchair and pursue an active lifestyle.

Customisable setting options

The BX 11 S adaptive wheelchair is characterised by a variety of customisable configurations. Seat width, seat height, seat depth, back height, centre of gravity – all parameters for maximum comfort can be adjusted according to disability-related requirements. The unique design of the BX 11 S with swing-away and removable legrests makes it possible to manually change the seat depth and thus set the optimum level for the user. The seat depth is an essential factor for the permanent use of a wheelchair. In combination with the adaptive back and the lightweight aluminium construction, this adaptive wheelchair offers comfort and stability.

Legroom due to swing-away & removable legrests

The BX 11 S adaptive wheelchair has been deliberately equipped with swing-away and removable legrests that allow the user to get in and out of the chair without any hurdles. The design of the leg supports was additionally conceived in such a way that the user can feel the tubes of the leg supports on the back of the calves and gets a better feel for his wheelchair through this haptic stimulus.

Dynamic & stable handling

If you spend a large part of your life in a wheelchair, smooth driving characteristics are a top priority. The rear wheels with hollow chamber rims and Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres and the innovative steering wheels ensure good rolling resistance. This makes this modern adaptive wheelchair suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. When travelling or travelling by car, the BX 11 S folds easily thanks to its cross brace. In total, this adaptive wheelchair weighs just 13.8 kilograms.

Standard equipment

The BX 11 S adaptive wheelchair is equipped with swing-away and removable leg supports with plastic foot plates. A side-mounted aluminium clothes guard protects you from getting wet in rainy weather. Thanks to a Velcro cross on the seat surface of the BX 11 S, all commercially available seat and positioning cushions can be attached.
