The adaptable
The BX 11 adaptive wheelchair was specially designed to meet the needs of people with age-related disabilities or disabilities following an accident, such as paraplegia or amputation. Maximum comfort and flexibility make the BX 11 the perfect aid for initial care in rehab and getting used to a wheelchair. Thanks to its low weight, this adaptive wheelchair is the perfect companion for users who are permanently dependent on a wheelchair and want to maintain an active lifestyle.
Flexibility & stability
The BX 11 features a wide range of customisable configurations. The seat width, seat height, seat depth, back height and centre of gravity of the adaptive wheelchair can be adjusted according to the disability-related requirements. The BX 11’s fixed front frame in combination with a continuous footboard ensures high torsional rigidity. This is a very important factor in mobilisation, especially during the first rehabilitation. Thanks to the adaptive back and the lightweight aluminium construction, this adaptive wheelchair offers maximum comfort and stability.
Smooth driving characteristics indoors & outdoors
When you spend a large part of your life in a wheelchair, smooth driving characteristics are a top priority. The innovative steering wheels and the rear wheels with hollow chamber rims and Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres ensure optimum rolling resistance. This makes this modern adaptive wheelchair suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. When travelling or travelling by car, the BX 11 is easy to fold thanks to its cross brace. The total weight of this adaptive wheelchair is just 13.4 kilograms.
Standard equipment
The BX 11 adaptive wheelchair is equipped with a fixed front frame with continuous aluminium footboard. In rainy weather, a side-mounted aluminium clothes guard protects you from getting wet. A Velcro cross attached to the seat surface of the BX 11 allows the use of all commercially available seat and positioning cushions.
Extras
There are a variety of options for the BX 11 adaptive wheelchair, such as an anti-tipping device, a tilting aid, an amputation leg support, horizontally adjustable leg supports, an angle-adjustable back, swing-away and removable side parts, a brake lever extension, height-adjustable and removable push tubes, plug-in and height-adjustable side parts and a transparent spoke protector.
The maximum load capacity of the BX 11 adaptive wheelchair is 135 kg.

HIGH TORSIONAL RIGIDITY
The BX 11’s fixed front frame in combination with a continuous footboard ensures high torsional rigidity. This is a very important factor in mobilisation, especially during the first rehabilitation.
PERFECT DRIVING CHARACTERISTICS
The rear wheels with hollow chamber rims and Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres ensure optimum rolling resistance. Tehy are individually adjustable in height and activity. The front wheels are also adjustable in different sizes – Optimally always 90° to the ground.
COMFORTABLE SITTING MADE EASY
A Velcro cross attached to the seat surface of the BX 11 allows the use of all commercially available seat and positioning cushions. The adjustability of the backrest ensures a very good stability of the trunk.
CROSS BRACE FOR ACTUAL SEAT WIDTH
To achieve the most important seat widths, 3 different cross braces could be installed. “Real” seat depths of 380 to 540 mm are achieved with the cross braces.
