With a standard width of 620 mm and a standard length of 1070 mm, the EJOY RD remains a “manoeuvrable” partner even in small rooms and also fits into elevators without any problems. You can effortlessly master turning maneuvers in narrow aisles with the EJOY RD electric wheelchair.

The EJOY RD is designed for longer distances. The range is about 35 km. Depending on the motor, the rear-wheel drive electric wheelchair reaches its destination at a speed of 6 km/h or 10 km/h. The EJOY RD reliably overcomes inclines of up to 10° and obstacles of up to 50 mm. The maximum load capacity of the electric wheelchair is 140 kg.

The EJOY RD power wheelchair with rear-wheel drive, drive wheels with independent suspension and a sprung chassis has a high level of stability and traction. The turning range of this rear-wheel drive power wheelchair is 1170 mm.

Since the electric wheelchair swivels out in the front, visible area, it is also very suitable for people with cognitive disabilities or the elderly. The pivot point is behind the user. The center of gravity is between the drive axle and steering wheels. This shifts the center of gravity only slightly on inclines or declines. When driving uphill, the center of gravity shifts to the drive axle, which improves traction.

The easy-to-use PG Drive VR-2 joystick is fitted as standard on the right-hand side of the EJOY RD electric wheelchair with rear-wheel drive. It is adjustable in length and can be swung away.

Maximum seating comfort & safety

The stable steel frame of the EJOY RD electric wheelchair with rear-wheel drive in combination with numerous adjustment options for the seat and back module ensures flexibly adjustable seating comfort. With the EJOY RD, you can individually adjust the back and seat angle. The side panels are adjustable in height and width.

The leg supports can be swiveled away for easy entry and exit. The angle of the footplates can be adjusted for stable positioning of the legs. A comfortable seat cushion guarantees maximum comfort even on longer trips with the electric wheelchair. A lap belt as well as calf and heel straps provide the necessary stability.

A splash guard on both sides of the electric wheelchair protects the user on wet roads. The lighting of the EJOY RD with rear-wheel drive complies with the traffic road regulations.
