The EJOY RD XL rear-wheel drive electric wheelchair delivers the perfect performance for outdoor use thanks to its high level of driving stability. Its adapted dimensions also allow movement indoors. With a standard width of 620 mm and a standard length of 1070 mm, it also fits in elevators or other small spaces. Turning maneuvers in narrow aisles can be effortlessly mastered with the EJOY RD XL electric wheelchair.
The EJOY RD XL was specially designed for longer distances with high loads. The range of this rear-wheel drive electric wheelchair is approximately 35 km. Depending on the engine, it reaches its destination at a speed of 6 km/h or 10 km/h. The EJOY RD XL effortlessly overcomes inclines of up to 8° and obstacles of up to 50 mm. The load limit of this electric wheelchair is 170 kg.

Solid performance on the road & indoors
The rear-wheel drive power chair with independent drive wheels and a sprung chassis offers a high level of stability and traction. The turning range of the EJOY RD XL is 1200 mm.
Since the electric wheelchair with rear-wheel drive swings out in the front, visible area, it can also be navigated very well by cognitively impaired or older people. Its pivot point is behind the user. The center of gravity is between the steering wheels and the drive axle. This means that the center of gravity shifts only slightly on uphill or downhill gradients. When driving uphill, the center of gravity shifts to the drive axle, which in turn improves traction.
The easy-to-use PG Drive VR-2 controller is standard on the right-hand side of the rear-wheel drive power wheelchair. The device is adjustable in length and can be swung away.
Flexibility, comfort & security
The EJOY RD with a solid steel frame offers flexible seating comfort thanks to a variety of adjustment options for the seat and back module. The individual adjustability of the seat and back angle gives the user the necessary support and security. The side panels are height, depth and width adjustable.
The leg supports can be swiveled away for easy entry and exit. The angle-adjustable foot plates guarantee stable positioning of the legs. A comfortable seat cushion ensures maximum comfort even on longer trips with the electric wheelchair. A lap belt and vvg heel straps offer safety while driving.
A splash guard on both sides of the electric wheelchair protects the driver on wet roads. The lighting of the EJOY RD XL with rear-wheel drive meets the requirements of the traffic road regulations.
Simple design & extensive accessories
The EJOY RD XL power wheelchair with rear-wheel drive impresses with its modern design. The white color of the steel frame conveys a certain lightness. All other parts of the electric wheelchair are kept in plain black.
